BIO:

Multi-disciplinary artist Tony M. Bingham lives and works in Birmingham, AL. Through his sculptures, large scale photography, and found audio work, Bingham makes reference to unmarked burial sites and vernacular headstones and calls into question where, how, and who we collectively remember. Bingham currently teaches at Miles College, Fairfield, Alabama.

The Ancestral Light Series – Africa town, (Mobile)Alabama

The Ancestral Light Series – Africa town project will engage the community through artistic encounters which reflect its heritage. With the creation of new works of art in sculpture, photography, oral history and animation. An exhibition is scheduled for May 2022 at the Alabama Contemporary Arts Center in Mobile, Alabama.
