The QTPie Puppet Clique is a growing collective of all Black, all Trans and gender non conforming (TGNC) puppeteers based in New Orleans, LA. We make unapologetically Black original work that centers narratives of the South and a radical queer Black feminist praxis.

PROJECT:

time just does that thing it does is the first adult puppet play in a series of original works utilizing puppetry and satire to explore the historic and current evils of the non-profit industrial complex (NPIC). Created and performed by the QTPie Puppet Clique under the direction of indee mitchell, time just does that thing it does highlights the ways in which the NPIC tokenizes, isolates and disposes of our movement leaders and artists alike, ultimately working to destabilize our social movements and collective liberation work in the US South.
