My name is Jonathan Turner. I’m originally from Utica, MS where my family has been around for 10 generations. I graduated from Raymond High School. Not long after that, I went to Hinds Community College with an Associates Degree and went on to complete my Bachelors Degree in Business Administration at the University of Southern Mississippi which is located in Hattiesburg, MS. My major was in Business Administration with a concentration in Sports Management. While I was at USM, l was blessed with the opportunity to work for Sipp Culture whenever I came back home during the summertime and winter breaks. Once I graduated, life naturally gravitated me towards this amazing space. 

As the Executive Administrative Assistant, I typically spend my days assisting the Sipp Culture Team  in all aspects inside and outside of the office. The Administrative duties normally consist of collaborating with others on planning, organizing and executing various events. I also spend my time working in Hubspot and learning new ways to manage Sipp Culture’s database. I wear many hats because I work in a wide variety of areas while providing administrative help wherever I’m needed. 

Since I’ve been here I’ve had the opportunity to truly grow, expand my horizons and navigate through my community in a beautiful way. I never knew what life had in store for me, but being able to be directly involved in my community in such a positive way has changed my overall outlook on the world.
