Homegrown Utica Logo & plant

Homegrown Utica, led by local artists and community leaders, is inviting artists, performers, and local organizations to participate in their Homegrown Utica Fest on July 27. The festival, held on Utica’s Main Street, will highlight Utica’s relationship and culture around food and rural living through storytelling, mural-making, farming tables, visual art, music, and more. All types of artists are invited to exhibit or sell their work, host interactive activities, or perform through dance, music, or other performances.

Homegrown Utica is a part of the national campaign Arts for EveryBody demonstrating how participation in the arts can lead to healthier people and communities. Utica, and 17 other sites, will premiere an array of participatory art projects on July 27 that draw on the theme of “No place like home.”

Artists interested in participating can visit homegrownutica.com/festival to learn more and fill out an interest form. To learn more about Utica’s connection with Arts for EveryBody, please visit artsforeverybody.org/utica-ms
