“The Seed You Sow” is an immersive art installation and community experience in Jackson, MS that fuses agriculture, mental wellness, and cultural storytelling to promote healing and sustainability. Through interactive elements like a Dirt Hill, seed-packet customization, and pot painting, participants engage with the metaphor of planting as a tool for personal and communal growth. The project uplifts Southern Black farmers and communities, fostering unity, skill-sharing, and mutual support through creative expression and hands-on learning.

Built on four essential pillars—expression, collaboration, education, and empowerment—The Mash Up provides opportunities for artists to thrive, share their stories, and connect with their communities.
